Princess Cruises has completed an extensive two-week refit of its 2,670-guest Sapphire Princess cruise ship, which will sail out of Southampton this year and in 2019. The refurbishment was carried out in Singapore, with the vessel now including enhanced onboard spaces and product innovations.
Sapphire Princess has recently departed Singapore for the UK and will sail roundtrip out of Southampton from May to October in 2018 followed by a slightly longer season from April to October in 2019. A variety of voyages are on offer, largely to the Norwegian Fjords & Baltics, as well as a 12-day Canary islands voyage in October 2018.
Exciting news! A second new P&O Cruises ship will be joining the fleet, arriving in 2022.
To be created in the image of her sister ship (arriving 2020), she will share the title of 'the largest cruise ship to be built exclusively for British guests'. A next generation ship, guests will be treated to a range of innovative new features and experiences on board.
